About: Jessica Springer-Cap

Hello! My name is Jessica, and I am a proud mom of three wonderful children and one amazing bonus child, ranging in age from 3 to 13. I share life with my incredible partner, Jason, and together we are raising the best four kiddos anyone could ask for.

Our family life is beautifully busy. My oldest (13) is a competitive dancer who trains 15 hours a week, not including competition weekends. My son (10) and stepson (10) are constantly on the move, playing flag football, basketball, baseball, and just about any sport that keeps them active. Our youngest (3) enjoys library groups, playgroups through local resource centers, swim lessons, soccer and her very own tiny dancer class. Most weeknights, you can find me happily shuttling between practices and games. When we’re not at sporting events or spending time with family, we love to travel. Jason and I are passionate about showing our children how incredible our country is and creating lasting memories together.

Professionally, I am a professor at multiple universities, where I teach life skills courses focused on time management, goal setting, study strategies, note-taking, and personal development. I earned my master's degree in education from Post University in Connecticut. Currently, I am working on my doctorate in educational leadership. I am deeply committed to lifelong learning and regularly attend seminars and webinars to continue growing so I can better serve my students/clients.

Community involvement is at the heart of who I am. I proudly serve as President of my daughter’s middle school PTO, where I lead initiatives and spearhead fundraising efforts to support students and staff. I am also passionate about early childhood education and volunteer with our local early childhood collaborative as a Parent Ambassador, working directly with families in our community. As a Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) graduate, I am dedicated to stepping up and leading wherever there is a need.

Whether in the classroom, at a PTO meeting, or cheering from the sidelines, I am driven by a deep commitment to executive function skills, education, family, and community.
